Abhord Quickstart Guide (Refreshed for January 2026)
This practical guide helps new Abhord users go from zero to insight, fast. It reflects current best practices for running cross-LLM surveys and acting on what you learn. Look for “What’s new” callouts that summarize changes and updated recommendations since the previous edition.
1) Initial setup and configuration
Goal: create a clean workspace, connect sources, and standardize how Abhord and LLMs will evaluate your brand and competitors.
- Create your workspace
- Add your organization name and primary domain(s).
- Define brand entities: official name, common aliases, product lines, and misspellings (e.g., “AcmePay,” “Acme Pay,” “APay”).
- Add up to 10 seed topics that matter to you (e.g., “pricing,” “uptime,” “security,” “migration,” “integrations”).
- Connect data sources
- Start with high-signal channels: web search results, help forums, developer communities, social platforms, app stores, and review sites.
- Set your default lookback window (e.g., last 30–60 days) and crawl cadence (daily or weekly).
- Turn on language detection; keep English first, then add locales as needed.
- Configure LLM providers
- Add at least two model families to reduce single-model bias.
- Set rate limits and region preferences to respect compliance needs.
- Establish default sampling: temperature 0.2 for extraction/scoring; 0.6–0.8 for ideation; top_p 0.9; max tokens sufficient to capture examples.
- Standardize redaction and normalization
