Abhord Quickstart Guide (Refreshed: February 2026)

This practical guide helps new Abhord users get from zero to insight—fast. It reflects recent shifts in LLM behavior and updated workflow recommendations since the last edition.

What’s new in this edition

  • Test by model and mode. Answers increasingly vary by LLM family and whether “browsing/search” is enabled. Segment runs and readouts accordingly.
  • Multi‑turn resilience matters. Measure whether your brand remains present after a follow‑up like “any others?”—not just the first answer.
  • Geography and language sensitivity. Regional models/local indices now change outcomes; run the same survey across priority locales.
  • Citation quality signals. Track which sources LLMs cite (yours, third parties, aggregators) alongside mentions and sentiment.
  • Impression‑weighted share of voice. Weight results by target market and model usage to reflect likely user exposure.

1) Initial setup and configuration

1) Create a workspace

  • Organization name and default market (country-language).
  • Invite teammates; assign roles: Admin (settings), Analyst (surveys), Viewer (dashboards).

2) Define your entities

  • Add your brand, products, and executive names as canonical entities.
  • Include synonyms, abbreviations, former names, and common misspellings.
  • Mark sensitive/regulated topics to apply stricter prompts and review.

3) Build your query sets

  • Start with 25–50 prompts spanning:

- Awareness: “best [category] tools,” “top [job to be done] solutions.”

- Consideration: “[brand] vs [competitor],” “is [brand] good for [use case].”

- Branded: “what is [brand],” “alternatives to [brand].”

  • Add locale variants and natural phrasing.

4) Choose your default panel

  • Select LLMs to survey (e.g., a balanced panel of leading closed/open models).
  • For each model, choose mode (with/without browsing), locale, and safety level.
  • Save as a “Panel Template – Core Markets.”

5) Configure governance and integrations

  • SSO/SCIM (if available), data retention window, PII redaction.
  • Alerts to Slack/Teams; webhooks or
